This paper presents about improving stability of the system which can be possible with new FACTS device with more convenient. FACTS devices come under the influence of power electronics equipment. Distributed Power Flow Controller is a FACTS device used for damping low frequency oscillation with new controlling approach. It is valid for a wide range of the operating condition. In this work explain the basic model and its steady state operation, mathematical analysis injection of current control model of the DPFC. Using damping controller used in DPFC facts device as input to implement the task of power oscillation damping .Here this work had a brief study on damping, terminal voltage and excitation voltage at different load conditions, simulation results demonstrate damping low frequency oscillation at nominal, light and heavy loading condition

Coherent structures in plumes with and without off-source heating using wavelet analysis of flow imagery

Laser flow visualization using fluorescent dye provides instantaneous snapshots of dye concentration across selected sections of the flow. We demonstrate the potential power of wavelet analysis in revealing the nature of organization present in such pictures of turbulent shear flows, in a case where it is difficult to discern any such organization in the raw image. The technique consists of examining the contours of the transform coefficients using two-dimensional wavelets on the raw image. It is applied here to diametral cross sections of a plume with and without off-source heating. It is found that in the unheated plume there is definite evidence for a sinuous large-scale ring-like organization, which, however, is absent when the off-source heating is switched on. The proposed technique not only enables eduction of coherent structures in flow-visualization pictures, but can also provide a wealth of scale-specific information on flow structure

The dipole moment of indene is determined in three non-polar solventscyclohexane, CCl4 and CS2 covering a dielectric constant range of about 2.0 to 2.6. The experimental observations are treated in the manner of Guggenheim for obtaining the dipole moment values. The high value of about 0.85 D obtained for the moment of the compound is suggested as probably arising out of the resonance of the molecule between various structures as in the ease of the related compounds cyclopentadiene and fluorene

Solar energy has become a very potential new energy; Connected directly with grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems does not require bulk and lossy battery. Distributed generation and on-site supply of PV system reduces losses of transmission and distribution, and mitigates environment pollution. This paper establishes a Dynamic model of grid-connected PV system by Matlab/Simulink with d-and q-axis as coordinates which is synchronously rotating with the grid voltage to reflect the characteristics of the system accurately. Based on the accurate modeling system, optimum control and fault analysis are studied. The simulation and analysis verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, and demonstrate that the proposed control system has good static performance

Introduction: Butea monosperma, a deciduous tree belonging to the family Faboideae, is found growing in many parts of India. All the parts of plant are highly medicinal with its mention in different systems of medicine. Several review works have summarized the potential efficiency of this plant. Objective: The present work attempts to evaluate the physicochemical and preliminary phytochemical studies on the flowers of Butea monosperma Koen. Ex Roxb, family Fabaceae. The work is done for pharmacognostic standardization and authentication of flowers of Butea monosperma. Methods: The herbal standardization was carried out on the basis of organoleptic properties, physical characteristics, and physico-chemical properties. Physicochemical parameters including ash values, extractive values, loss on drying, foreign matter were evaluated. Results: Powder is yellowish brown, velvety in texture, bitter in taste and smells chocolaty. The Loss on Drying at 105 c, total ash and acid insoluble ash were found to be 5.39%, 7.82%, 1.07%, w/w respectively. Ethanol and water soluble extractive values (hot)were 14.21%, 22%w/w respectively. The extracts were subjected to preliminary phytochemical screening and the results certified the presence of alkaloids, phenols, flavonoids, triterpinoids, steroids, carbohydrates, proteins and saponins in alcohol and aqueous extracts of flower. Conclusion: These studies provided referential information for correct identification and standardization of this plant material
